Build-Up Schedule

This six-week schedule is designed for runners or walkers who have very little training foundation. This schedule is a short preparation program for the 19-week basic half marathon training schedule.

Fred Klinge is currently certified by the American College of Sports Medicine as a Health/Fitness Specialist. He participated in 1984 U.S. Olympic Marathon Trials and has a marathon PR of 2:18:15.
