The Jazz Half Marathon is pleased to announce the Merrill Lynch "Run for the Children" Relay Challenge. The relay will include four-person teams covering the length of the Half Marathon course.

Each team is composed of four members with each member running 3-4 miles. Teams may be entered in one of the following divisions and categories:

• Corporate Division - All team members are employees of the same company
• Open Division - No restrictions
• Uniform Division - Open to military, law enforcement, and fire protection organizations.

Each division has the following team categories:

• Male - All male team members
• Female - All female team members
• Mixed - At least one team member of each gender

Course

The relay will start at 7:10 AM at the Jazz Half Marathon starting line (on Convention Center Blvd. near Girod St.) and cover the full Half Marathon course.

Transportation

Buses will be provided to transport team members to the transition areas and will remain in those areas until all runners have cleared the area. In case of inclement weather the buses will act as shelters.
