The Jazz Half Marathon has a great course, starting and finishing at the New Orleans Convention Center area and stretching Uptown to Audubon Park. Most of the road repair and construction which affected the course last year has been completed. This year's course will be USATF-certified. A course map is now available.

Aid Stations

Aid stations will be located along the course at approximate two-mile intervals. Stations will provide water from Aquiana and sports drinks, as well as helpful and enthusiastic volunteers. Each aid station will also provide portable toileting facilities.

Entertainment

In addition to meeting your physical needs we will also provide musical encouragement along the course and at the finish line celebration. Details will be listed here as they become available.

Time Limit

The Jazz Half has a walker-friendly course. The time limit at the finish line is four hours, equivalent to an 18-minute per mile pace. Traffic control and aid stations will close on a rolling schedule based on this 18:00/mile pace. If participants do not stay on this schedule they may continue on their own but will be expected to move to the sidewalks and provide for their own needs.
