The Jazz Half Marathon will start and finish this year at Lafayette Square. The starting line will be located on Poydras Avenue at Camp Street. The course will head east on Poydras and turn right onto Convention Center Blvd, heading south and U-turning just before Henderson Street. If you ran the event in 2009 or 2010 you'll be on familiar ground now.

After turning left back onto Poydras Street the course follows Loyola Avenue, Howard Avenue, and turns at Lee Circle onto St. Charles Avenue for the three and a half miles to Audubon Park. A quick loop of Audubon Park and you're heading back downtown on St. Charles Avenue. You'll reach Lee Circle at mile thirteen. A quick right on Andrew Higgins followed by a left on Camp Street and you're on the home stretch. The finish line is on Camp Street at Lafayette Square.

Turn by Turn

Start on Poydras Street at Camp Street, proceed toward the Mississippi River. Turn right onto Convention Center Blvd, make a U-turn at the last turning bay before reaching Henderson Street. Proceed back to Poydras Street and turn left at Loyola Avenue. Turn left again onto Howard Avenue to Lee Circle. Exit Lee Circle onto St. Charles Avenue heading uptown. Proceed to Audubon Park entering opposite Tulane University campus. Circle front of park (do not cross Magazine Street) and exit back onto St. Charles Avenue. Return to Lee Circle, then turn right onto Andrew Higgins, then left onto Camp Street. Finish at Lafayette Street at Lafayette Square.
